Whether you’re a resident or a visitor, everyone loves New York. The beauty and vibrancy are second to none, and Manhattan is everything you thought it would be, and more!

I live in Manhattan, and as I’m sure you can imagine, I’ve explored a lot and absorbed as much as I could of this amazing area. However, the enormity of New York makes it impossible to be part of it. No matter how hard you try, there just isn’t enough time.

These are my favorite parts of Manhattan. When you come to New York I want you to see this wonderful city through my eyes, not through a tourist brochure. Trust me, you will love it!

One of my favorite areas is the amazing East Village. This is where I prefer to spend my evenings in the wonderful bars and restaurants.

Whether you want to shop for clothes, grab a drink, or choose from a wide variety of food styles, the East Village is the place for you. Aimed at the younger age group in their twenties and thirties, this square mile is busy, vibrant, and very cosmopolitan. The Lower East side borders it at the bottom and it is very easy to cross from one to the other without realizing it.

If you’re looking for a place that caters more to those outside of the East Village age group, head to the West Village. Trees lining the sidewalks outside the shops and cafes add to the appeal of this area. If you like a lively atmosphere coupled with lovely scenery, this is the place for you.

One of the most naturally beautiful parts of the wonderful city is Central Park. Residing in the area known as the Upper West Side, it combines everything you expect from Manhattan; style and elegance.

I hope I have understood how wonderful Manhattan is and that no trip to New York is complete without visiting this wonderful district. Oh, there’s more, believe me, but that’s enough for today!
