Anti-Aging: Middle-aged mice’s lifespans increased by 33-60% when a small amount of restevol was added to their diet. It kept their hearts healthy and slowed down the signs of aging.

Cell Protection: Has been found to inhibit the production of various cancer cells, including stomach, colon, breast, thyroid, and pancreatic cancers.

Liver disease – Excessive alcohol consumption causes fat to build up in the liver, sometimes leading to fibrosis and other liver diseases. Excessive alcohol consumption inhibits the production of a pair of proteins vital to breaking down fats in the liver.

One of the most common diseases in the United States is nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). People who drank red wine daily reduced their risk of NAFLD by 50%, but those who drank moderate levels of liquor and white wine were 4 times more likely to have suspected NAFLD.
