Stress is widespread. It is an epidemic and has debilitated many people today. The sad part is that many people think that it is natural.

Don’t give in to the stress gods. It would be very easy for you to do a quick search online for tips on how to relax and unwind after a stressful day, but in my opinion the best advice would be to face stress head on; straight to the source, and tackle it before it rears its ugly head.

It is interesting that the solution to relieve stress occurs in the world of stress as follows:

It is silent
T: The truth is to be honest and truthful with yourself and with others.
A: Rest, relax.
E: Exercise and eat well and well
EN: sleep well
S: Give up, do your best and let yourself go…

It is possible to have a stress free life. Sure, stress is the result of life’s challenges, and a life without problems is too boring to imagine. BUT, many of life’s stresses are unnecessary, and you can combat them by doing simple things. You can’t be a pro at de-stressing overnight, but you can do it. It is a worthwhile goal.

You can get rid of the source of stress by following a few simple steps:

1. Learn to identify what causes it. This is by far the most important tip, as recognizing what causes stress is the first step in getting rid of it completely. Identify your stressors. What are your triggers? What activities, things, people cause stress in your life? Create a list of spells and check which ones are easier to tackle. Delete them. Stress is cunning. From dealing with overly demanding customers to getting stuck in a traffic jam, see the situation for what it is and know that it’s about time you put on a game face and take better care of yourself.

2. Learn to breathe. You will feel and look much more at peace if you calm your body and your thoughts. In the midst of a stressful situation, count and breathe to help restore some peace to a stressful time.

3. Slow down. Take things easy, don’t rush through life. Enjoy the people around you, savor your food and appreciate nature. Doing this step alone can do wonders for you.

4.Help. This may seem like a paradox, since de-stressing generally equates to cutting back and getting more in touch with yourself, but if you had to add something to your life, this step should be it. Take some time to help others, whether it’s volunteering for a cause or charity you’re passionate about, or just going the extra mile to be kind and empathetic to people you meet. Helping to lower stress levels.

It is true that there is no magic pill to get rid of stress. Seek guidance and sensible advice. Then make the necessary changes, take it one day at a time, and remember to be kind to yourself. All the best for you!
